A beautiful plant with small round leaves. It is suitable for small or large aquariums. It doesn't need CO2. Relatively demanding in terms of light. CO2 addition a plus to promote growth. Pearl Weed is a spreading/sprawling plant native to North America. If planted densely, Hemianthus micranthemoides will grow upright in the aquarium. If planted loosely, Hemianthus micranthemoides will grow in a spreading fashion. The amount of light can also influence the growth of Baby Tears. The higher the light the more likely it is too spread as it doesn't require energy to grow upright.
