Apistogramma agassizii Fire Red are small, colourful dwarf cichlids. They feature bright red fins, with the males displaying vibrant red colouration on their head and body. They are territorial and are best kept in pairs or a small harem in peaceful community tanks. They reach a max size of about 8cm. They're considered a moderately difficult fish to keep and are best suited for intermediate aquarists as they are more sensitive to poor water conditions and have specific environmental requirements to thrive.
Care requirements: - 75L tank or more - 24-27 C - sandy substrate, leaf litter, and plenty of hiding spots - carnivorous so they require small frozen foods - regular water changes and good water quality
