Description: AquaLabs GH Plus is a specialised water conditioner crafted to elevate the general hardness (GH) of water by introducing essential calcium and magnesium compounds. Such minerals are vital for the long-term health and reproductive capacity of fish, shrimp, plants and snails. The required degrees of general hardness (dGH) are ultimately determined by the inhabitants of the aquarium and should be considered before using the product. See the general guide below:

To prioritise the health of aquarium plants, potassium and chloride are purposefully excluded from the GH Plus formulation. Additional potassium would interfere with the target NPK ratios provided by AquaLabs fertilisers whereas excess chloride levels can stunt the growth of plants.
Safety: For aquarium use only. Keep out of reach of children.
Directions: 1 tsp (≈4.5g) in 60 litres of water will raise dGH by 2.1. Note that the dGH of tap water is dependent on the local water supply whereas the dGH of RO water is 0. For best results, the powder should be dissolved in a separate container before adding to the aquarium. Scoop included.

Appropriate KH levels are vital for the long-term health and reproductive capacity of fish, shrimp and snails. Plants may also utilise carbonates where there is a lack of additional Co2 Injection. The required degrees of carbonate hardness (dKH) are ultimately determined by the inhabitants of the aquarium and should be considered before using the product. See the general guide below:
