Blastomussa is a genus of hardy LPS corals. They have vibrant colours and gorgeous fleshy polyps.
Blastomussa wellsi has larger polyps and fewer heads per skeleton whilst Blastomussa merletti has smaller polyps, more heads, and a taller, branching skeleton.
Care Tips: - low to moderate light - low to moderate flow - position in the lower third of the tank - stable calcium levels for their skeleton - avoid touching their fleshy polyps directly - they're peaceful but can sting nearby corals (multiple of the same species can be kept close together)
