The Slender Cardinalfish is a delicate, almost fully transparent nano species with a pale silver sheen that shimmers beautifully under reef lighting when kept in a school. A naturally schooling fish with a tighter schooling ability than chromis and anthias. Can also be kept in smaller groups in smaller aquariums as they don't swim actively. Feed small-particle meaty foods including frozen copepods, baby brine shrimp, and finely chopped mysis twice daily. Due to its small gape, food particle size is important.
