Trichogaster chuna is a peaceful and colourful gourami that grows to approximately 5cm. They're great for community tanks with schooling and other peaceful fish. They're a tropical species that require at least 30L. Best kept singularly or in pairs but they can be kept in small groups in larger tanks. They're omnivores and prefer planted aquariums with spaces for them to hide and swim through.
Males can develop more colour in breeding and established conditions. Stock in-store are juveniles and haven't established and will not develop gender colours fully.
