German yellow male guppies have brilliant yellow bodies and fins and can be metallic in appearance.
Guppies are a peaceful addition to your tropical community tank. Available in a variety of stunning colours, they are perfect for beginners. They reach a maximum size of about 4cm and are easy to breed. They prefer to be kept in groups. The females tend to be a bit less colourful than the males.
They are omnivores and will eat a variety of foods. Feed them a varied diet of frozen, freeze dried and flake foods.
They're an ideal addition to the community aquarium. Their trailing fins do however make them susceptible to more aggressive fish.
