Pearl Weed is a spreading/sprawling plant native to North America. If planted densely, Hemianthus micranthemoides will grow upright in the aquarium. If planted loosely, Hemianthus micranthemoides will grow in a spreading fashion. The amount of light can also influence the growth of Baby Tears. The higher the light the more likely it is too spread as it doesn't require energy to grow upright.
