Perfect for murdering pest Aiptasia anemone!

Peppermint shrimps are also known as Candy Cane Shrimp because of their appearance. They grow up to 5cm long and their bodies are semi-transparent with light pink to red stripes across it.

In their natural habitat they like to be close to reefs where there are plenty of places to hide during the day and lots of food at night.

h3>Tank Recommendations for Peppermint Shrimp

Peppermint Shrimps are quite sociable but can be very aggressive to other types of shrimp! So be cautious about how many you want to add to your tank. If you have a smaller aquarium (min. 45lt) then just add the one or two.

These guys like to sleep during the day and feed at night so live rock marine aquariums are best with plenty of hiding places for them by day and reasonable open spaces for them to feed at night.

Peppermint Shrimps adapt very easily to most water conditions and temperatures.

Suitable Tank Buddies

Peppermint Shrimps are quite sociable and also help clean parasites and dead skin from their tank buddies. So a peaceful tank with other chilled out tank members is ideal.
