Tissue Culture Plants have been grown in sterile containers that allow them to be easily moved, and which are free from disease, pests and pathogens.
The plants and the Agar are then sealed into the sterile containers and grown under strict controls in a completely sterile environment. The plants need no water to keep growing while they are in the container, as long as they are provided with light.
Tissue Culture plants can survive for quite some time in these containers but we recommend using them as soon as possible to get the most freshness from the plants.
Before planting rinse off all the Agar (jelly) and separate into smaller bunches.
This is an aquatic plant. Under the right aquarium conditions this plant should thrive for many years.
